Air Conditioner Emergency? Check These Things:

• The unit is getting power - tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses could indicate a bigger problem with your electrical system
• The power switch is 'ON' position - equipment is often installed in cramped spaces, where switches can accidentally be bumped
• Your thermostat setting is on 'COOL' or 'AUTO' and at a temperature lower than the current room temperature
• The fan is set to 'ON' for continuous airflow or 'AUTO' if you want the fan to operate only when the air conditioner is running
• Thermostat batteries are not low or dead - programmable thermostat screens usually have a flashing 'low battery' icon
